Andrew Cunningham

Andrew Cunningham balances his time working within the clinic along with his work as a physiotherapist for NHS Lanarkshire.

Following graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University with a 1st class honours degree, Andrew initially took his first physiotherapy role in a private practice in Ayr before moving into his current positions.


With a keen interest in sporting injuries in both the recreation and elite level athlete. Andrew has worked with Scottish Hockey National Women’s Seniors Squad providing physiotherapy support at two European championships while continuing to support their under 21 development squads. While in football, he has previously supported the SFA performance schools and Glasgow University Football.

Andrew’s move into NHS was driven by his interest in complex rehabilitation of chronic conditions. Within the practice he utilises the latest scientific evidence to ensure all his treatment techniques provide the optimal outcome for all of his patients. His real passion is to empower his patients to understand and self-manage their own conditions, providing a lasting positive outcome for both acute and chronic issues.

Appointments with Andrew are available in the evenings and weekends and will look to accommodate you at a time that suits your busy schedule.
