Fiona Stewart

Fiona graduated from Queens` College, Glasgow in 1981 as a Chartered Physiotherapist following on from her MA degree from Glasgow University. Her interest in Continence and Women`s Health began early on in her career and in 1986 she attained full membership of ACPOG- now known as POGP (Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy).

Fiona has extensive experience in the field of pelvic floor dysfunction and has worked as a Specialist Physiotherapist in this area in the NHS from 1996 until 2012 as well as in the private sector from 2004 until 2007. In 2012 she set up her private practice working from sites in north and south Glasgow. More specifically, she treats patients with bladder or bowel problems, prolapse symptoms and patients pre or post pelvic surgery. She also treats women with bowel emptying difficulties-incomplete emptying, straining or constipation as well as post natal women with vaginal laxity.
